During a trip to Germany this past week, five members of the State-Building Working Group made efforts to learn about the nation’s experiences with a federal form of government.

The NDC members’ research included efforts to understand the subject in a comprehensive manner, from political, economic and social perspectives.

In Berlin, they also met with representatives of Yemeni expatriates living in Germany. At the meeting, the representatives took the opportunity to convey the expatriate community's general needs and concerns - as well as their perspectives on the nature of Yemen’s future state - to the State-Building Working Group members.
