On Monday in Saudi Arabia, a team composed of Yemeni expatriates emerged victorious in a diverse football tournament which saw participation from Arab, Asian and African expatriates.

The Yemeni team defeated a team of Egyptian expatriates in the tournament’s final round. With the teams tied at three at the conclusion of the game’s regulation time, the Yemenis moved ahead after winning a penalty shootout.

For the entirety of the final match, all members of the Yemeni team donned white jerseys which prominently displayed their country’s National Dialogue Conference logo.
