Members of the National Issues and Transitional Justice Working Group received a lecture on constitutional and transitional justice themes on Tuesday.

The lecture, which included discussions on the drafting of constitutions and various nations’ experiences with the theme of transitional justice, was delivered by constitutional expert and former Foreign Affairs Minister for Mauritania Mohammed Al-Hassan.

In particular, Al-Hassan stressed the importance of including clauses concerned with the theme of transitional justice in Yemen’s new constitution.
