
Members of the NDC National Issues and Transitional Justice Working Group approved a work plan for upcoming period on Sunday.
The group’s technical committee gave approval to the work plan, which covers the time period of July 13 to August, in a meeting headed by group Chairman Abdul Bari Doeish.
According to Doeish, the work plan contains general and specific objectives, including the drafting of constitutional and legal articles.
In addition to efforts to engender national reconciliation and address political conflicts, the working group’s members plan to focus on the process of reforming Yemen’s security and judicial institutions.
Also, the plan aims to discuss violations against human rights in Yemeni cities such as Sa’ada, Tehama, Marib, and Al-Jawf.
