The Group of Ten Ambassadors, representing the five permanent members of the Security Council, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the European Union welcomed the recent progress of the country to overcome obstacles to conclude the National Dialogue Conference.

In a press statement released on Thursday, the Group urged all political parties to work together with high understanding, making concessions in order to overcome the outstanding disagreements and to find positive solutions, saying that Yemen now has a historic opportunity to provide a better future for Yemenis.

The group highly praised the clear and steadfast leadership of President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi in building political consensus in Yemen, in particular the Just Solution to solve the southern issue.

They expressed their deep concern over the growing violence in the country, calling on all parties to defuse tension and to produce peaceful solutions to all various issues.

The Group of Ten Ambassadors reiterated in this regard their encouragement to all factions and Yemeni segments to continue to work together with a spirit of cooperation as during the NDC, which proved that political disputes could be solved by dialogue.
