NDC Secretary General Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak met on Tuesday with UK Ambassador to Yemen Jane Marriott.
During the meeting, Bin Mubarak said that all majority of NDC components have a very strong desire to conclude the conference with a high level of success that meets the Yemeni people's aspirations, who are looking forward to a comprehensive stability and sustainable development.
He considered that what has been achieved until now by NDC members is unprecedented in Yemen's modern history because the dialogue was not between the authority and the opposition but rather it was an umbrella bringing together all political and societal components in the country based on the idea of a new Yemen far away from all conflicts of the past.
For her part, the UK diplomat highly valued all achievements made in the NDC, expressing her satisfaction that the road of dialogue was not paved with roses but was full of obstacles and constraints.
Marriott said that President Hadi succeeded in providing a unique model through the peaceful transition and democratization.
She also indicated that her country would support all steps that aim to make the NDC a success and would support the implementation of its outcomes in order to realize Yemen's security, stability, and development.
