
President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi chaired on Tuesday a meeting of the NDC Presidency.
At the meeting, the NDC Presidency discussed several topics as they were scheduled in the timetable and took suitable decisions on them.
The meeting touched on what has been published in local outlets about the Just Solution document including guarantees and solutions of the southern issue.
The Presidency confirmed in this regard that what has been published about the document is not accurate, saying that the media and the political campaign against the document is not reflecting the NDC outcomes and also the new Yemen, of which features were being drawn during this critical historic stage.
The NDC Presidency released a statement that confirmed the following:
1-All NDC outcomes and its documents which forms the specifics of the current constitution will not be inconsistent with the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism and its general essentials with the UN Security Council resolutions 2014 and 2051.
2- All NDC outcomes and its documents will not establish to form any sectarian or split entities that threaten Yemen's security, stability, and unity. The NDC outcomes will ensure an inclusive and just solution to the southern issue in the framework of a unified federal state on the basis of a unified, democratic federalism in accordance with the principles of justice, law and equal citizenship.
3- All NDC outcomes and its documents are aimied at tackling all grievances of the victims of political conflicts within the possibilities of the state and in the framework of the essentials of the transitional justice and the national reconciliation.
4- The new constitution should include texts that preserve Yemen's unity and the identity of the state and prevent any actions in this regard.
