NDC Secretary General: All Fears about Just Solution Document to Solve Southern Issue Vanished

9 January 2014 /

NDC Secretary General Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak said that all fears that were circulated about the Just Solution document to solve the Southern Issue have been vanished.

"We have assured all factions and they agreed upon the clarification items,'' bin Mubarak added, calling on all Yemenis to congratulate what has been reached by the NDC.

He denied the allegation that there is a deal beyond the signature of the rest of political components within the NDC on the Just Solution document to solve the southern issue. He added in his answer to the Yemen TV channel that the coming stage is the most important stage of construction and implementation of NDC outcomes.

"There are no deals, however. The only deal is to move forward into the future and forget the past,'' he noted. He added that "by signing the document we can say that we launched the basis of Yemen's modern state, because the southern issue is the core of all Yemeni problems.''

Bin Mubarak urged all political and societal components to stop spreading despair among the Yemeni people, stressing the importance of looking forward the future.

Concerning the final statement of the NDC, he said that in the next days, members of the Southern Issue Working Group would review the group's decisions in the NDC third plenary session in order to be approved. The NDC final statement would contain all outcomes of NDC nine working groups, he said.
