
President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi met on Wednesday with ambassadors of five permanent members of the Security Council.
During the meeting they reviewed the latest development Yemen has been witnessing nowadays along with the successful conclusion of the NDC.
Hadi expressed his appreciation of all efforts made by the ambassadors of the five permanent members sponsoring the political settlement process in Yemen based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism backed by the UNSC resolutions 2014 and 2051.
The President praised the efforts of the international community and their support of Yemen's security, stability, and unity in order to get Yemen out of its crisis, highly valuing the outcomes produced by the NDC which will be the foundation for the future of Yemen based on justice, equality, and good governance.
He said that the upcoming stage will be very important for change in Yemen, which needs the support of the international community to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people during the implementation of the NDC outcomes.
For their part, the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the Security Council expressed their appreciation of President Hadi for his efforts in leading this change.
