In a statement issued on Thursday, the Group of Ten Ambassadors representing the five permanent U.N. Security Council members, the GCC and the EU has welcomed the conclusion of the National Dialogue Conference on January 21.

They hailed the personal leadership of President Hadi to conclude the first step in the Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative political transition.

The G10 Statement on Concluding NDC read as following;

The G10 ambassadors welcome the conclusion of the National Dialogue Conference on January 21 and applaud the spirit of cooperation and compromise that permitted the Dialogue participants to reach a consensus and to recognize the outcomes of the Working Groups.

The Group of Ten conveys its respect for the dedication and the conviction of the Dialogue participants aimed at achieving a common goal for the good of the Yemeni people, and the personal leadership of President Hadi to conclude the first step in the Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative political transition.

The ambassadors look forward to the official closing ceremony to be held on January 25 and the deserved international recognition this event will garner.
