
President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Thursday ambassadors of Gulf Countries Council's to Yemen.
At the meeting, President Hadi briefed the ambassadors on the nature of the situation in Yemen and the latest developments along with the success made by the NDC which produced outcomes would meet Yemeni people's aspiration.
He praised all efforts made by the GCC's leaders in succeeding the political settlement in Yemen based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism backed by the UNSC resolutions 2014 and 2051.
"The GCC efforts have had a positive impact through the political, moral, and material back to Yemen during the crisis until Yemen overtakes all challenges,'' the President said.
He added that Yemen is a natural and geographical extension to GCC countries and the security in Yemen is a part of the security in the region.
Moreover, the President pointed out that all international community is standing by Yemen, and backing the NDC outcomes and that reflected by the UN Secretary General's statement in this regard.
He praised also the support of the GCC Secretary General Abdul Latif Al-Zayani during his role in support the NDC progress.
For their part, the GCC ambassadors highly valued the efforts of President Hadi and his leadership to the country during those exceptional stages.
