President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Monday a phone call from U.S. President Barack Obama.

During the call, President Obama congratulated President Hadi and the Yemeni people on the conclusion of Yemen's National Dialogue Conference, praising the transition experiment. He described it as a unique and pioneer experiment drawn by the Yemeni people to address their problems and issues during the consensus and reconciliation.

He stressed that the success of the NDC will push the US, the whole international community, and all friends to provide economic support to Yemen in these circumstances and in this important stage of Yemen's history.

"I have watched the progress of the NDC along with the role you made to overcome the challenges and difficulties of reaching the complete success, which averted Yemen from dragging into conflicts,'' the U.S. President said.

He reiterated that the US would work beside friends of Yemen to solve the economic problems as well as give cooperation to combat terrorism, in addition to enhancing Yemen's security and stability and contributing to reviving investments in order to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people.

For his part, President Hadi expressed his thank and appreciation to President Obama and to the American people for his country's support in various fields and at different circumstances.

Hadi said that the success of the NDC is a new stage to bring Yemen forward to a bright future based on justice, equality, good governance.
