A number of Yemeni experts and security leaders praised on Wednesday the NDC outcomes' document, saying that if those outcomes were implemented on the ground they would help the country to restore its security and stability and would tackle the security imbalances.
In short statements made to the NDC Media Center, they stressed the importance of playing vital roles by each individual in support of the NDC outcomes to become a reality in the Yemeni people’s lives. "Those outcomes would establish the desired future being dreamed of by Yemeni people,'' they added.
They also called on the Yemeni government to fulfill its duties by accelerating the implementation of the NDC outcomes and imposing sovereignty over all parts of the country and to start the procedures of removing all weapons from armed militants.
They also indicated that the time is appropriate to implement the NDC outcomes, indicating the desperate situation that Yemeni citizens were subjected to during the previous period.
General Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, CID, Brigadier General Omar Abdul-Karim said that the NDC outcomes lay the foundation for building a civil state based on equal citizenship and ensuring all citizens' rights and respecting their basic human rights.
On the other hand, military analyst Colonel Nadeem al-Jamali said that the NDC outcomes need to be implemented on the ground completely in order to meet all the aspirations of Yemeni citizens at various levels and in particular in the areas of security, economy and development.
"The implementation of the NDC outcomes could face a lot of obstacles like the conflicts we are noticing right now in the northern provinces,'' he said.
"However, there is a real will to implement NDC outcomes on the ground in order to move out of the current circumstances,'' he added.
Colonel Naji Jaber, a commander in the police air defense explained that the NDC outcomes are able to restore the security and stability in the country by being implemented on the ground.
"The lessons are the importance of implementing successfully the NDC outcomes on the ground and their adopting indicates that all political and societal powers participated in the NDC with peaceful options,'' Jaber stated.
