President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Thursday tribal leaders and dignitaries from the Al-Mahra and Socotra governorates.

President Hadi commended the roles played by citizens of al-Mahra and Socotra during the sessions of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), stressing that the NDC outcomes would lead to a new Yemen in which all people can enjoy values of justice, equality, and good governance.

President Hadi reviewed the crises that swept Yemen in 2011 and the reconciliation that could save Yemen from sliding into a situation with dire consequences.

"The strategic location of Yemen has motivated the world community to stand by Yemen and prevent it from plunging into a civil war” Hadi added.

The people of al-Mahra and Socotra spoke to President Hadi, appreciating his efforts in leading Yemen in this critical stage.
