
NDC Secretary General Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, along with his First NDC Deputy Secretary General Afrah Al-Zouba, met on Tuesday with experts at the Office of Transition Initiative, (OTI) and the International Organization for Migration, (IOM).
During the meeting they congratulated bin Mubarak and his first deputy on the successful conclusion of the NDC along with the decision of Regions' Committee to transform Yemen into a six-region federation, describing the decision as a great achievement.
Also at the meeting, they discussed all aspects of joint support in the next stage of the transition, which mainly related to the support and promotion of the NDC outcomes and arrangements for holding a referendum on Yemen's new constitution, in addition to concepts related to federalism.
Bin Mubarak said that the main challenge is how to implement the NDC outcomes and make them a reality on the ground, pointing out that this requires political determination along with huge resources.
''During this stage, youths will require more attention because they represent a high percentage of Yemen's society,'' bin Mubarak added.
The expert Jeningize said that they are about to carry out several projects to support youths.
For her part, Afrah Al-Zouba expressed her appreciation for the Office of Transition Initiative and the International Organization for Migration for their support, stressing the importance of continuing this important partnership.
