A number of Civil Society Organizations' leaderships confirmed on Thursday that the NGOs would play a vital role in supporting the NDC outcomes.

They also added in short statements made to the NDC Media Center that the NGOs would create a suitable climate to implement those outcomes in the country, because they represent the starting point of desired change and a roadmap for a better future.

They spoke about the role that NGOs would play after the successful conclusion of the NDC and the signing of the NDC outcomes' document.

Dr. Nasser al-Taweel, the scientific director at Yemen's Center for Strategic Studies said that the role of NGOs in the coming stage would be raising the awareness of the NDC outcomes and promoting them among all social segments in society.

He also added that they would work to clarify the importance of addressing all political, economic, and security challenges by Yemen.

Saif Ahmed Al-Dahbul, the head of the Development Gateway Foundation in the Shabwa governorate mentioned that the NGOs would contribute effectively to establishing positive relations between the community and the NGOs based on active participation and positive community partnership in support of the NDC outcomes.
