The RASD Coalition for Monitoring the National Dialogue held on Tuesday a press conference where the eighth report of the coalition on successes and failures of Yemen's National Conference Dialogue was launched.
The eighth report covered the period from December 1st, 2013 to January 25th, 2014, focusing on successes that have been made by the NDC members, which included the signing of the Just solution's document to address issues of the south.
According to RASD's spokesman Mustafa Nasser said that the coalition has released since the beginning of the NDC until its conclusion eight reports, most of them concentrated on the process of the NDC and its performance during the previous period.
He noted that the coalition would also monitor the implementation of the NDC outcomes in the next period.
RASD is a coalition of seven civil society organizations (CSO)s; Yemen Elections Monitoring Network (YEMN-five organizations), Transparency Center for Studies and Research and the Studies and Economic Media Center (SEMC). These CSOs have extensive experience in monitoring democratic, political, and electoral processes. RASD is an independent, neutral and impartial group of organizations that will focus their monitoring procedure efforts on five working groups.
