The newly appointed members of the constitution-drafting committee were sworn in before President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Thursday. The committee's members are as follows;

8-Abdul Rahman Ahmed Hussein al-Mokhetar

9-Mohamed Mussa al-Ameri

10-Marwan Abdullah Abdul Wahab No'man

After the routine ceremony, President Hadi said that the committee's members are part of a great national mission. "Everyone knows that the committee will draw a new contract for Yemen,'' Hadi added.

The President mentioned that no people were consulted on the constitution, whether in South Yemen or in the north, and that the political leaderships control everything.

"Now we are forming the country's new constitution based on the NDC outcomes,'' Hadi noted.

On March 8, President Hadi issued Presidential Decree No. 27 for 2014, forming the  Constitution-Drafting Committee composed of 17 members.
