On Wednesday, the NDC’s Good Governance Working Group finalized all arrangements for field visits by its committees to various Yemeni governorates.

On Saturday, the group’s justice and equality committee is scheduled to visit Taiz; meanwhile, the civil society organizations, community participation, and anti-corruption committees will respectively head to Taiz, Aden and Hadhramout.

Sub-groups which have been formed by the committees will also visit with relevant authorities in order to acquaint themselves – and later the Good Governance Working Group as a whole – with government mechanisms and various challenges facing certain particular issues.

These sub-groups will also discuss their visions of improved performances by government authorities.
