As part of a committee field visit, NDD State-Building Working Group member Faida Al-Asbahi met with youth group representatives in Ibb governorate on Saturday.

Al-Asbahi delivered a presentation on the programs which will be carried out by the NDC’s Secretariat General with the aim of enhancing community participation and encouraging youths to form bridges of communication between all segments of Yemeni society and the National Dialogue Conference.

At the meeting, Al-Asbahi and the youth representatives agreed to launch various NDC activities and events, including pitching ‘dialogue tents’ and holding topical seminars and folklore events in Ibb’s districts.

From their side, the youth representatives proposed events to be staged during the committee’s visit.

The state-building committee arrived in Ibb on Friday. Shortly after their arrival, the committee members held meetings with senior local government officials on the aims of the field visit and on the governorate’s general situation.
