NDC offers condolences to families of two slain men

18 May 2013 /

The NDC’s Presidential Board met on Saturday with the families of the young men Khaled Al-Khateeb and Hassan Aman, who were believed to have been murdered by armed tribesmen on Wednesday.

During the visit, Presidential Board members offered their condolences and “deepest sympathies” to the victims’ families. They also assured the families that the NDC Presidential Board would continue to monitor the case and do what it could to provide assistance until the perpetrators were brought to justice.

Spokespersons for the families thanked the Board and the NDC members for their solidarity. They added, however, that they didn’t want to see NDC activities suspended in connection with their losses.

The families’ spokespersons added that the victims’ bodies would not be buried until their killers were arrested and put on trial.
