
On Saturday, NDC teams met with the directors of Socotra’s Hadibu and Qulansiyah districts.
During the meetings, a variety of issues were discussed, including challenges which face Socotra’s educational, health, economic, tourist and transport sectors.
Team Chairman Ahmed Bazaraa said the NDC members also spoke with the directors about ways in which basic services could be improved in the two districts.
The NDC teams – which are composed of members from the Development and Independence of Special Entities Working Groups - also met with citizens and representatives from civil society organizations, teachers, physicians and Mahra governorate’s Public Council.
The representatives presented their respective visions of improved conditions and discussed various proposals, the key points of which will be conveyed to NDC members in Sana’a.
