19 May 2013 /

The NDC’s Sa’ada Issue Working Group set this Monday as a deadline for remaining parties to present their conceptions of the Saada Issue’s key components.

At the group’s meeting, which was led by group Chairwoman Nabila Al-Zubair on Sunday, the Group also decided to start conducting field visits for the purpose of hearing from target societal segments and groups starting on Saturday.

The group members were asked to submit written questions - which will be asked of the targeted segments of groups - on Monday, when the questions will also be discussed and submitted for approval.

On Tuesday, the group will hear a preliminary report on the Sa’ada Issue’s roots – as assembled from various political party perspectives on the matter – on Tuesday.

During Sunday’s working group session, Al-Zubair said a meeting between the NDC Secretariat General and working group chairpersons had been held on Sunday.

Al-Zubair reported that at the meeting, it was decided that NDC members who wished to stage demonstrations or protest in the lobby area of the Movenpick Hotel should do so after 1:00 pm and not earlier, in order to ensure that there would be no interruption of NDC activities.
