On Sunday, the NDC’s Army and Security Working Group discussed reports on field visits which were made by the group’s members to military and security institutions in various governorates.

The committees which conducted the field visits discussed their outcomes and discussed how they should prepare comprehensive reports on the trips’ outcomes for the group’s leadership.

The wrongful terminations committee said it was still contacting the Interior Ministry and Political Security and awaiting requested information from each on the subject of wrongful terminations and what steps had been taken to address them.

Speaking about the Defense Ministry’s response, committee Chairman Ali Zaki said the Ministry had continued to decline to provide necessary information about wrongful terminations.

“We talked to our group’s leadership about the Ministry’s refusal,” he said.
