The NDC team which made field visits to Socotra Island returned to the capital city of Sana’a on Sunday night.

The team, which was composed of members from the NDC’s Development and Independence of Special Entities Working Groups, met with local officials and representatives from political parties, civil society organizations and various societal segments. 

At the meetings, discussions were held on aspirations and needs of the Socotri people.

The NDC team members also made visits to public offices, hospitals and Socotra’s new seaport, while also acquainting themselves with the challenges which face local institutions.
