The NDC’s Media Committee is preparing to issue new magnetized cards members of the media which will cover the NDC activities in the coming period, said Media Committee Director Mohammad Al-Asaadi.

“The cards will be magnetic, in order to ease arrangements for media coverage of meetings and other working group activities,” he said.

“With regard to the new cards, there will be new issuing standards, the most important of which is that a card holder must first be nominated by an active media organization,” said Al-Asaadi.  

He added that priority would be given to journalists and media organizations which have been covering NDC activities since the first session and that lists would be prepared at the NDC Media Center.

He added that the Media Committee would not prevent any media outlet from covering the NDC meetings, only that “There will be suitable arrangements for media coverage in general to avoid mistakes which occurred in the first phase.”

The media center provides daily reports on, along with photos and videos of, NDC activities. Its output can be found on the NDC’s Arabic and English websites, on various social media websites and on YouTube.
