On Saturday, committees from the NDC’s Good Governance Working Group discussed possible guidelines for use in evaluating their field visits and analyzing collected information.

The group’s members agreed on Monday as a deadline for the discussions to be completed. From that point, members plan to submit final reports containing proposals for Yemen’s new constitution.

Working group final reports are to be submitted on June 6th, when the NDC’s second session is set to commence.

The Rights and Freedoms Working Group also discussed finalizing its committees’ activities for the NDC’s first session for the purpose of setting aside time for the preparation of the group’s final report.

For its part, the State-Building Working Group formed a special committee which will be tasked with preparing the group’s final report.

The committee, which is comprised of 16 members, discussed how it would go about preparing the report during its first meeting on Saturday.
