Military and Security Working Group begins discussing field visit reports

25 May 2013 /

The NDC’s Military and Security Working Group has begun holding discussions on its committees’ reports on field visits to locations in Sana’a and other governorates.

Each group committee is discussing its report separately, as a prelude to the submission of all such reports to the group chairman. From there, the reports will be put before all group members for discussion and approval.

Chairman Yahya Al-Shami said the group was exerting itself in order to achieve the aims specified in the National Dialogue Conference’s bylaws.

“Since the first moment, we have been working hard and in line with the rules. We drew up a detailed plan for every committee, prepared letters and then made field visits to the Defense and Interior Ministries and intelligence service locations,” he said.

Al-Shami added that since target organizations had been very productive, the group’s visiting members had been able to collect important information on the organizations’ responsibilities and bylaws.
