On Sunday in Aden, a team composed of members from the NDC’s Army and Security Working Group listened to a description of the governorate’s security situation.

Aden Security Director Sadiq Haid reviewed efforts by authorities to restore stability in the wake of recent disorder.

“We have submitted a list of the security authorities’ demands and needs to President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi,” he said.

He said the list included demands to rehabilitate certain police stations and provide security equipment, including modern technology for the local department of criminal investigations.

“Aden has witnessed both the highest crime rate and the highest rate crime control,” he said, while at the same time calling for a reorganization and redistribution of Aden’s security forces.

At Sunday’s meeting, team Chairperson Nasser Al-Tawil said the NDC members faced problems in Aden, but added that the problems could be overcome.

“We will move forward until our mission is complete in Aden, which has suffered badly,” he said.
