On Saturday, members of the NDC’s Sa’ada Issue Working Group approved a final report on the group’s activities over the past two months. The report included a unified seven-point conception of the Sa’ada issue’s ‘roots’.
The agreed-upon points concerned state failure; poor development; external meddling; historic disharmony between religious sects; the improper use of power and manipulation of crises; media bias; and the sectarian aims of Houthi leader Hussein Badr Adin Al-Houthi.
