The State-Building Working Group has submitted a final report on its activities in the first session of the National Dialogue Conference to the NDC Presidential Board. The report, along with other working groups’ final reports, will be presented at the NDC’s second plenary.
At its meeting on Saturday, the State-Building Working Group members formed a subcommittee to prepare a plan for the working period following the plenary meeting.
Also on Saturday, the group’s members gave an audience to a Southern Movement representative, who provided a ‘vision’ of various components of a future Yemeni state, including governance and electoral systems.
Members listened as a representative of the Aden National Council presented his group’s vision of Yemen’s future legal authorities, military institutions, and arrangements between a federal government and the nation’s different regions.
Finally, members discussed a report on a team visit to Sana’a Central Prison last Thursday.
