The NDC Secretariat General held a meeting on Monday to discuss arrangements for the NDC’s second plenary, which is set to begin on June 8.

At the meeting, which was chaired by Secretary General Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, a special focus was placed on media coverage of the plenary, including matters of promotion and security arrangements.

Opening program items were reviewed, and a special action plan – which includes a new NDC logo and an art exhibition situated on the plenary’s sidelines – was approved.

Meanwhile, earlier on Monday, the NDC’s Good Governance Working Group began discussing its plan for the period following the Plenary.

Members were divided into the following three committees: a committee on competent public administration, a foreign policy committee, and a rule of law committee.
