On Wednesday, the NDC’s Development Group completed its final report on first session activity and submitted it to the NDC Presidential Board. Group Vice Chairperson Najat Juman said that most of the items which were put up for votes were approved and made it into the report.

“There were controversies surrounding state-building and the southern issue topics; some voted for a centralized state and others voted for a decentralized state,” she said.

“As a result of these controversies, we postponed the discussion and completion of work on these topics to the second NDC session,” she added.
