Community Participation Unit Manager Amal Abdulqadir said on Sunday that members of the general public had used the internet to directly participate in the NDC more than 700 times.

''According to the latest report, we’ve received 317 participatory emails and 388 forms of participation via Facebook, both of which we directly forwarded to members of the nine working groups,'' said Amal Abdulqadir.

The NDC offers citizens the opportunity to provide suggestions and share their ideas, either by using the internet or by telephoning the conferences call center.
