On Monday, NDC members received an economics lecture which largely focused on how Yemen could best distribute income derived from its natural resources.

The lecture, delivered by federal, administrative and financial relations expert Dr. Ahmed Ehtisham, called upon the experiences of various counties; in particular, Indonesia was discussed as a model for resolving citizen demands for secession.

Another key feature of the lecture was a discussion of the objectives of government transparency and revenue-sharing.
